I calculate protein from body weight then use the remaining calories for carbs and fats depending on how active I am

For me its worth taking I hit my protein target through food and whey and use creatine separately They work well together and I dont see a reason to drop one just because Im doing the other

I would use your rate of progress as the main feedback mechanism. If performance is improving and body weight is slowly increasing then the plan is probably working
