If you’re lifting early in the morning, longer warm-ups help. At night, you’re already more mobile, so you can skip half that stuff. Timing matters too.

I’ll throw in some light RDLs or lunges before deadlifts just to wake up the hammies and glutes. Feels more explosive after that.

Warm-up rule for me: if you’re sweating lightly and joints feel smooth, you’re ready. Anything past that is just burning fuel you’ll need later.
