Every time I take beta-alanine, I feel like my face is on fire šŸ”„šŸ˜‚. But for real does it actually help with endurance and muscle performance long term, or is it just a hype pre-workout ingredient for that ā€œtinglyā€ feeling? Anyone here actually notice real gains from staying consistent with it?

That tingling is wild the first few times lol. It’s paresthesia totally harmless. I’ve been running 3.2g daily for months and yeah, my endurance during longer sets definitely improved.

Honestly bro, it’s one of the few ingredients actually backed by research. You won’t ā€œfeelā€ it like caffeine, but over time it helps delay muscle fatigue.

Same here, I didn’t see much change until like week 3 or 4. You gotta take it daily, not just pre-workout. It’s about carnosine buildup, not a one-time hit.

Yeah I’ve been taking it off and on, maybe that’s why I didn’t really notice much. Guess consistency is key then?

Exactly. People quit early because they expect instant PRs. Stick with 3–6g a day, split doses if the tingles bug you.

I take it with meals and barely feel the itch anymore. Once you get past that, endurance in the gym really steps up.

I stack mine with creatine. That combo is killer for strength and endurance. You stay pushing volume longer without gassing out.

Might try that stack actually. I’m already on creatine so it makes sense to add beta-alanine daily instead of just in my pre.

Yeah man, that’s the move. Beta-alanine’s more about buffering acid buildup. Helps on those last grinding reps where your muscles usually give up.
