I still use carb cycling during cuts High carb training days help me hit PRs and low carb rest days keep fat gains in check

For me total calories and protein matter way more than cycling Carb cycling feels like an extra layer I don’t always need

I notice more energy and better pumps on high carb workout days Rest days low carb just helps me stay leaner without feeling deprived

Honestly I think it’s partly mental Hitting higher carbs on training days feels rewarding and keeps me motivated but the fat loss impact isn’t huge

I tried carb cycling for 8 weeks and felt stronger on lift days but I don’t think it’s essential You can just adjust overall calories and hit the same results

It works best if your training is intense and consistent If your sessions are light carb cycling won’t make a noticeable difference

I personally prefer flexible dieting over strict carb cycling Hit macros across the week and adjust carbs based on energy needs instead of set days
