Early on I stayed too light and stalled Gradual increases made better progress

A bodyweight bench and maybe a bodyweight squat is solid for most beginners Deadlift a bit more than bodyweight is common too

I switched from PPL to Upper/Lower because recovery was killing me Upper/Lower gives me more energy each session and I still hit everything twice a week

If you’re training more than once a day or doing long sessions timing helps But for most of us hitting the gym once daily total carbs are what matter most

For real I just love the process now The weights the pump the routine that’s what keeps me hooked The results come later but if you enjoy the grind it’s easier to stay locked in
