I see so much conflicting info online programs, supplements, influencers For those who’ve been lifting a while what truly moved the needle early on If you had to narrow it down to just a few priorities training, diet, recovery what would they be

For me it was just being consistent I stopped jumping programs and trained 3–4 days every week That alone made a big difference

Learning basic form early helped a lot Once I stopped ego lifting and focused on doing reps correctly, my strength went up faster

Eating enough was huge I thought I was eating a lot but I wasn’t Once I added more meals and protein I finally started growing

Sleep matters more than beginners think When I started sleeping 7–8 hours, my recovery and energy in the gym improved a lot

I ignored supplements and focused on food and training Whey and creatine were enough Everything else felt like a waste early on

Keeping workouts simple worked best Squats, presses, rows, deadlifts. No fancy exercises, just getting stronger week by week

Patience was key for me I expected results too fast Once I stopped comparing myself to others, progress felt more steady

Tracking workouts helped more than anything Writing down weights showed me I was actually improving even when I didn’t see it in the mirror
