Curious what realistic strength benchmarks look like now Squat, bench, deadlift, pull-ups what numbers are actually solid for a natural beginner without comparing to TikTok freaks

You’re probably overthinking it After 6 months, just being stronger than when you started is a win Numbers vary a lot person to person

A bodyweight bench and maybe a bodyweight squat is solid for most beginners Deadlift a bit more than bodyweight is common too

Pull-ups matter more to me than barbell numbers If you can do 5–10 clean reps that’s good progress at 6 months

Don’t compare yourself to TikTok lifters A lot of them aren’t beginners or aren’t natural Focus on steady progress

I was weaker than most benchmarks at 6 months but kept improving Consistency mattered more than hitting numbers fast

Form counts I’d rather see clean reps with lighter weight than sloppy lifts just to hit a benchmark

If your lifts go up month to month and you feel healthier, you’re doing fine Strength isn’t linear for everyone
