Cardio for Beginners Necessary for Health or Killing My Gains
Some say skip cardio to grow faster others say it’s essential for recovery and heart health What’s the realistic balance for beginners who want muscle but don’t want to gas out walking upstairs
Re: Cardio for Beginners Necessary for Health or Killing My Gains
Light cardio helped my conditioning without hurting gains Walking or cycling a few times a week made lifting feel easier
Re: Cardio for Beginners Necessary for Health or Killing My Gains
Skipping cardio completely made me feel out of shape fast Even 15–20 minutes helped a lot

Beginners don’t need much A few walks per week plus lifting is enough early on

Cardio only kills gains if calories aren’t adjusted Eat enough and it’s fine

I treat cardio as health insurance A little goes a long way without hurting muscle
