Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
I usually keep my warm-up short Just a few lighter sets before my main lifts and that’s enough for me
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
For heavy lifts I take more time to warm up For smaller exercises I just do one light set and start
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
About 5 minutes of light cardio and a couple warm-up sets works well for me
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
I used to skip warm-ups but started getting small injuries Now I always do at least 2–3 light sets
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
Nothing complicated for me Just gradually increase the weight until I reach my working sets
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
Leg day needs more warm-up for me Upper body days are usually quicker
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
If I spend too long warming up I feel tired before the workout even starts
Re: Warm Ups How Much Is Necessary and How Much Is Too Much
I just warm up until the movement feels comfortable and my joints feel ready

A few light sets and some stretching is usually enough before I start lifting heavy
