How to Eat on a Beginner Budget
How to Eat on a Beginner Budget
Trying to bulk without going broke. Right now it’s eggs, rice, tuna and chicken. Any cheap meal ideas you swear by?
Re: How to Eat on a Beginner Budget
Eggs and rice are still one of the cheapest meals out there. I used that combo a lot when I first started lifting.

Ground beef and potatoes can be pretty affordable if you buy in bulk. Good calories and solid protein too.
Re: How to Eat on a Beginner Budget
Oatmeal is another cheap option. I mix oats with peanut butter and a scoop of protein for easy calories.
Re: How to Eat on a Beginner Budget
Chicken thighs instead of chicken breast can save some money. Still good protein and usually cheaper.

Canned beans with rice and some chicken works great too. Cheap, filling, and easy to cook.

Good ideas guys. I didn’t think about chicken thighs or beans, that could definitely help keep the cost down.

Peanut butter sandwiches are a lifesaver when you’re on a budget. Quick calories and pretty cheap.

Buying food in bulk really helps too. Big bags of rice, oats and frozen chicken can save a lot over time.
