Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
A discussion about which supplements may support joint health and help manage joint discomfort from training. Covers popular options like collagen omega 3 glucosamine and other evidence based choices plus when they may be worth considering.
Re: Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
I think omega 3 is one of the first options worth looking at for general joint support especially if your diet is low in fatty fish
Re: Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
Collagen is probably the one I hear mentioned most for joints and tendons but I would not expect it to work like a painkiller

Collagen gets a lot of attention for joint support and there is some research behind it but results can vary from person to person
Re: Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
I would look at diet sleep training load and hydration first before spending money on a large supplement stack

Glucosamine and chondroitin are popular choices but the evidence seems mixed so I would not consider them essential
Re: Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
Omega 3 makes more sense to me as part of an overall healthy diet rather than something specifically designed to eliminate joint pain
Re: Best Supplements for Joint Pain?
I also compare the quality of my training sessions If I am eating more but constantly feeling sluggish and performance is getting worse then simply gaining scale weight does not mean the bulk is successful
