I usually check the ingredient list first and keep it as simple as possible

The first thing I check is the actual protein source and how much protein I get per scoop

I normally compare the protein content with the serving size because some scoops are much bigger than others

For me a high quality protein powder is one that has reliable protein content good ingredients mixes well and fits my budget
