Protein powder vs real food what’s your take
Protein powder vs real food what’s your take
I rely on shakes a lot lately 2–3 a day sometimes Wondering if that’s hurting my gains long term Do you all prioritise whole food protein or are shakes fine as long as macros line up

Shakes are fine man They’re just food in liquid form As long as your total protein is there you’re good

I try to stick with mostly whole food Shakes are convenient but real meals keep me fuller and help digestion

I do one shake post workout and maybe one more if I’m short on protein Anything more and my stomach gets upset

You’re fine with 2–3 a day if the rest of your diet is solid Just make sure you’re getting some whole food for vitamins and fiber

Whole food is always better for overall nutrition but shakes are great when you’re short on time Balance both

I used to do 3 shakes a day too but switched to more chicken and eggs I noticed better energy and less bloating

It’s all about hitting your macros bro Whey just helps when you can’t get enough food in It won’t hurt your gains
Re: Protein powder vs real food what’s your take
Real food gives you more micronutrients and better satiety but shakes definitely have their place especially during busy days

I think 1–2 shakes daily is the sweet spot Keeps life easy without replacing real meals completely
