Everyone makes mistakes at first bad form overtraining or skipping rest What’s one thing you wish someone told you when you started lifting

Man I wish someone told me how important form is over weight I used to ego lift just to move heavy numbers ended up with shoulder pain that took months to fix Now I warm up properly and focus on control

For me it was skipping rest days I thought going hard every day would get faster results. All it did was burn me out and kill my progress Recovery really is part of the process

Not tracking food I lifted for almost a year wondering why I wasn’t growing Once I started tracking calories and protein everything changed Nutrition is 50% of the game

I used to copy other people’s workouts instead of following a structured plan Big mistake Once I stuck to a real program I started seeing consistent progress

I wish someone told me that progress takes time I was so impatient early on I’d hop from one workout plan to another every couple weeks Consistency beats everything

Ignoring mobility work My tight hips and shoulders limited my squat and bench for months Now I stretch and foam roll after every session makes a huge difference

Not sleeping enough I’d hit the gym hard but stay up late gaming or watching Netflix Once I fixed my sleep my recovery and strength went up fast

Overdoing supplements When I started I thought I needed every powder out there Truth is you just need solid food protein and consistency Supplements come second
