Training Hard But Not Growing What Am I Missing
Been consistent for months pushing hard in the gym eating plenty but the scale barely moves Anyone else go through this Is it diet recovery or just genetics kicking in
Re: Training Hard But Not Growing What Am I Missing
Could be recovery man If you’re training hard but not sleeping 7–8 hours a night progress stalls fast I learned that the hard way

Might be your calories Eating plenty feels like a lot until you track it Try logging your food for a week you might be underestimating
Re: Training Hard But Not Growing What Am I Missing
Same thing happened to me I was lifting heavy but doing too much volume Once I backed off a bit and focused on progressive overload the gains started coming again

Genetics play a role but they’re not the main issue for most people If strength numbers aren’t moving up your muscles won’t either Try increasing load or reps weekly
Re: Training Hard But Not Growing What Am I Missing
Check your protein intake You need around 1g per pound of body weight if you’re serious about growing I started hitting that consistently and saw better results

Sometimes it’s just patience I was stuck for 2 months and thought I hit my limit then suddenly weight and size started creeping up again
Re: Training Hard But Not Growing What Am I Missing
Don’t forget stress and hydration Cortisol kills gains and being even a little dehydrated messes with strength and recovery more than people realize

Take a deload week Sounds counterintuitive but resting for 5–7 days can reset your system I came back stronger every time I tried it
