Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
Different Mechanisms: Protein provides building blocks for muscle growth; creatine increases cellular energy and power output during high-intensity exercise.Enhanced Results: Studies show that stacking creatine with adequate protein yields greater gains in lean mass and strength than protein alone.Full Saturation: Diet alone—even one rich in red meat and fish—rarely maxes out muscle creatine stores the way a 5g daily supplement does.

I already hit my protein every day and still take creatine They do different things so I dont really see them as alternatives
Re: Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
I used to think high protein meant creatine wasnt needed but after trying it consistently I actually prefer having it in my routine
Re: Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
Protein is mainly about getting enough amino acids while creatine is more about training performance So having enough protein doesnt really make creatine pointless

I would keep the protein high first and then add creatine if the rest of the diet is already sorted

I was already eating a lot of protein before I started creatine The creatine did not replace anything in my diet I just added it to what was already working
Re: Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
For me its worth taking I hit my protein target through food and whey and use creatine separately They work well together and I dont see a reason to drop one just because Im doing the other
Re: Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
expectations are important Creatine wont fix bad training or poor nutrition but it can be useful when the basics are already handled
Re: Is Creatine Still Worth Taking If You Already Eat a High Protein Diet?
creatine because it doesnt require a complicated routine I just take it consistently and focus on getting my food and training right
